What do you do?

We remove junk and unwanted materials/items from residential and commercial properties. Our rates include all labour, loading of the materials from anywhere on your property, clean up and all disposal/recycling fees. We provide all customers with an upfront written estimate before any work begins.

What do you remove?

We will remove almost anything, provided it can be lifted by two people and is not hazardous.

Why can not you take hazardous materials?

Unfortunately, we are not licensed or insured to carry hazardous waste. This includes paint, chemicals, solvents, motor oils, asbestos, propane tanks, creosote (railway ties), biological or medical waste.

Please call our office if you have any questions! If you have materials that we can not accept, we will do our best to assist you in finding an environmentally safe solution.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Our trucks and labourers are fully licensed and insured in case of accidental damage or injury. We are also licensed by the Ministry of Environment to haul away household and commercial junk.

Do you provide moving services?

No. Our trucks are not properly equipped and we are not insured to move.

How do you price?

In general, we price by volume: how much space your junk takes up in the back of our truck. However, if you are wishing to dispose of heavier materials – like concrete, plaster, or dirt – surcharges would apply as we need to account for the additional disposal fees we will incur. Why can not you give me an exact price over the phone?

Our rates are based on the amount and type of junk being removed. Until we see what is to be removed, we can not provide you with an exact price. Once we arrive on-site, simply indicate what you had like us to remove and our friendly junk specialist will provide you with a zero-obligation free estimate. If you are pleased with the estimate, we come prepared to begin the job right away!

How much notice do you require?

We can typically be out to your location same or next day. We are fast!

Why are appointments booked in 2-hour windows?

Estimates are booked in 2-hour windows to allow for unforeseen circumstances, such as traffic or jobs that were larger than expected. The truck team always calls 30 minutes before arrival to let you know exactly when they will arrive.

Do I have to be at the property to have the job done?

Not aways! Provided we can access your materials and have a solid understanding as to what needs to be removed, we will call you once on-site with an exact estimate. If you have us proceed, we will process your credit card remotely (over the phone) upon completion of the removal. A copy of the quote, invoice, and receipt will either be left in your mailbox or mailed to a secondary location for you.

How big is your truck?

Our trucks box holds up to 15 cubic yards (400 cubic feet). It measures 10ft x 8ft x 5ft.

What is a cubic yard / cubic foot?

A cubic yard = 3ft x 3ft x 3ft, equivalent to 27 cubic feet.

A cubic foot = 1ft x 1ft x 1ft.

Using our rate card, a friendly junk specialist will quantify the amount of junk you have in cubic yards / cubic feet and assess the nature of the materials before providing you with our estimate.

What equipment does your truck team come with?

Aside from two strong junk specialists, our trucks come equipped with disposal bins, a dolly, garbage bags, and various tools to ensure your junk is removed in a safe and timely manner.

What do you do to prevent damage to my property?

In cases where we are removing junk from inside your home or business, we are extra careful to ensure no damage occurs to your walls or floors. For your peace of mind, we are fully insured in case of accidental damage or injury.

What do you do with my junk?

Typically, over 60% of the material removed is donated to a local charity or recycled. The remaining material is disposed at a landfill or transfer station for further processing.

Why use your service instead of a disposal bin?

We do all the lifting, loading, and cleanup for you.

Our pricing is upfront and all-inclusive. With bins, you will often pay the rental fee + disposal surcharges at a later date. We take care to recycle or donate your "junk". Bin rental companies bring all your junk to the landfill.

Do you charge environmental fees?

On very rare occasions, a small environmental fee may apply on certain items.

Heavy Materials Pricing

Extremely heavy materials require a significant amount of lifting and shovelling, with typically higher disposal fees due to weight. In most cases, all labour and disposal fees are included in the removal of heavy materials. However, in some cases, additional labour may apply.
